Level Evaluations

Many students at Big City Swing join our classes from a variety of backgrounds.  If you are uncertain which level is best for you, an evaluation session will help match your skills and goals with our classes.

Evaluations are available to new students and are scheduled as 55-minute private lessons.  During the evaluation lesson, your instructor will ask you about your previous experience, offer helpful technique pointers and recommend the best Big City Swing group class for you.

By registering for a group class on the same day as your evaluation, we will credit $20 of your evaluation lesson fee towards the tuition for your recommended group class or class package.

The evaluation lessons are subject to the cancellation and rescheduling policies of our regular private lessons. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies as they are strictly followed.  In addition, a credit card number or pre-payment is required to reserve your evaluation lesson.
