Workshops

Swing, Lindy Hop, Wedding, Ballroom and Specialty Classes

Big City Swing offers single session intensives on specific topics. Workshops may vary in duration and are offered serveral times thoughout the year. If you do not see a date and time next to a workshop description, it will be offered again in an upcoming session.

Parking: Free street parking in front of studio

Refunds / Transfers: Please see our cancellation / refund policy on the FAQ page for details. Because the costs of workshops vary, the cancellation fee imposed for workshops will be based on the enrollment fee for each individual workshop.

Workshop Package


$100 for 4 workshops. Good for 1 year from date of purchase.

The Workshop Package will let you attend 4 Big City Swing workshops any time in the next 12 months at the discounted rate of $25 each (a $20 savings over the regular workshop prices).

Please note the name(s) of the current workshop(s) you wish to register for in the comments field when enrolling online. Workshop Packages are not transferrable between students and standard cancellation policies apply.

Summer Swing Camp
Mondays 10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Jun 16 - 20, Jun 23 - 27

Swing into Summer with this exciting two-week camp! You will learn Swing and Charleston, as well as Dips and Tricks to impress your partner and your friends!
This class is designed especially for high school and college students ages 14 - 20, and will be limited to 30 students.

Lindy Movement I
Tuesdays 7:30-9:30 pm - May 27

Learn some styling variations and moves that you can add to your social dancing. The movement taught in this class will also help your timing, connection and balance. Which can always add some flair to your dancing.

Pre-requisite: Lindy I, II and III
Price: $35


Lindy Movement II
Wednesdays 8:00-10:00 pm - May 28

In Lindy Movement II, you will have the chance to really work on your lindy by learning some new patterns that will challenge your lindy and help take it to the next level.

Pre-requisite: Lindy I and Lindy II
